This was fantastic. Loved the atmosphere, the huge amount of stalls, you could buy just about everything you could expect at any market. Any weekend we are back in Whanganui, a trip to the markets is a must.
Whanganui has done a great job to provide access to the river. Was in town so took a walk along the boardwalk after dinner... beautiful place and the Saturday Market is legendary.
These are some really good markets. Gold coin donation parking across the road was perfect for us. Good variety of stalls. Good food options. Stopped at the South African food stall and got a roti wrap, samosas and a little donut thing. Very well priced and very yum. Would eat there again.
Awesome place. So much to see. Some really great stalls including so much fresh foods as well. Really enjoyed our time there
Great range of food and things to buy. Bought a great hat. Had strawberries and chocolate in a punnet. Bought Nice artisan bread from a stall too.! Parking is a bit tough with roadworks but doable.
