I am not from new Zealand but one of my friends are who went into this hospital with severe left side abdominal pain and had bloods and urines taken only not even a scan as the scan referral would take weeks? What the actual hell, what if my friend has a ruptured cyst and she becomes septic because of a referral taking so bloody long? The treatment and care she was provided VERY POOR CARE. This is absolutely disgusting and yous should be absolutely ashamed of how you treat sick people , you don't even investigate why they're there. She has been throwing up and yous have no care in the world. That is itself is absolutely disgraceful. I give yous a rating of 0
Waiting three hours for a one lil blood test . . . doesn't seem right. Also, don't isolate someone in a room by themselves for 2-3 hours when they're suicidal. It's quite obvious you actually don't either understand the situation or care.
Tell you what.....I don't know what's happened since last time I had to deal with a hospital, but man alive things have improved "Amazingly".service I got from the very busy Whanganui staff was nothing short of excellent. They were helpful, empathetic, informative and communicative. Waiting times were good. Well done team. You can all feel proud of yourselves. - Paul Lee
My mum has been up with breathing problems countless times and still isnt better, dont you think when someone comes up with something so serious more than twice in a week it would be something to be considered about!! I am getting very sick of this hospitals poor treatment.
My name is Gary Palmer and I would like to express my admiration to all the medical professionals and support staff including the ambulance staff involved in saving my life and giving recovery support after a rare propofol reaction resulting in pancreatitis during a surgery at a private hospital. They are all amazing and have shown myself, my wife and family incredible empathy and compassion during this harrowing experience
Request for urgent midnight essentual medication is not considered an emergency. Doctor will likely wait for you to die and not do anything. This is what happens when ED staff treats patients as BAU, without any genuine care and empathy.
Have been a client since Day OneBirth No complaints about service
Great staff when I went in to have my second child recently. We were only in the hospital for approx 8 hours and it was during the night shift hours but the staff as well as my midwife where incredible, made sure both my partner and I had food and drinks etc, friendly as anything. And the room was very clean, comfortable and well prepared. They made our experience pleasant and calm.... Considering what we were there for!
I took part in the National Screening bowel treatment program and receive a positive test. Outpatients responded almost immediately after being advised by my local doctor and I was immediately booked infor a colonscopy. This was completed within 2 weeks of my sending in my test. The total procedure was most professionally carried out with excellent communication and in recovery I was treated well, and towards the end treated to 2 freshly made sandwiches and coffee. Thank you.
Mum had surgery yesterday and we were so impressed with the great service she received from reception to nursing staff and the explanations about her anasetic to surgery procedures. 100% satisfied. Thank you for your care and empathy. A great experience!
