Awesome library with a welcoming atmosphere.The staff are really helpful and friendly.
Been always good and have helpful staff.nnBut I had an really really unpleasant and frustrating service yesterday with a maori man staff, took him HALF AN HOUR to print TWO colors pages. At first the self- service printer had issue he did not know how to fix. I resent to the counter, he did not know how to print and print colors page. Told him I am in a rush to go wellington really needs this done, and told him to ASK OTHER FOR HELP. HE WOULDN’T .nnWhat a waste of time and I had to rush and push all my important schedules behind which it was really really stressful.nnClearly he doesn’t really know computer and technology, I do not know how he get this job and work behind the counter.
Lovely library with plenty of books to choose from. Great coffee and something to bite while sitting warm and comfy and losing yourself in your book.
I'm sure they have very helpful staff and a great selection of books, though I did not get to find out. It was too noisy to work even with noise-cancelling headphones. Bad timing I guess. If you're looking for somewhere quiet, check the schedule ahead for noisy activities, and consider heading to the Alexander Heritage & Research Library next door.
Great services available for all the community to use and wonderfully helpful librarians.
