Story

The Whangamata Golf Club has 2 courses that will satisfy the demands of either the more experienced golfer (Titoki 18 hole) or the learner/casual golfer (Williamson 9 hole). We extend an invitation to all golfers be they affiliated or green fee players to play these courses. The Titoki clubrooms have a bar and catering service available on most busy days. Titoki also has a well stocked pro shop that sells all the leading brands of golf gear. Golf carts, trundlers and clubs are also available for hire. Tee bookings are usually required during holiday periods.

After a couple of disappointing experiences here last year it was great to see things are back on the up. Course was in great knick despite a wet few weeks. Charlie in the pro-shop was excellent, made you feel welcome and is an asset to the the facility. I will definitely recommend again now.
Great country golf course. Very well maintained with a well-stocked 19th. Hard enough to be interesting but not too hard not to enjoy. Friendly staff and large carpark.

This is a great place, friendly, exceptional food and service, very Kiwi styled. The manager is a great guy and his personality obviously permeates the place. Great golf course, challenging, well groomed. Thoroughly recommend. If you can't hit straight, take extra balls or use smaller clubs.
The personality of the local people, the course management, the bar and catering staff all makes the place. I rate Titoki course 5 stars because they are all great! We booked through NZ Golf, everything was waiting for us, great Pro shop... thanks, bar staff amazing, friendly locals and Man oh man, the food is fantastic. The locals we played with were soon friendly and helpful. I got to speak with the manager and he was also great, it's obvious his personality is leading the course. Course condition 9.8 out if 10. Greens fast and in good condition. We pared the course, it is difficult, tight, water, inclines, declines, slopes, amazing eels and white bait. Give it a go.
