Amazing place to eat and have a nice drink with friends and family. Staff are so friendly and food and drink prices are the cheapest in town. $35 to join for the year, but you would easily get that back in the first couple visit with the discount structure. A must if you’re visiting Whangamata.!

It wasn't the plan to end up at the Whangamata Club for a meal but we didn't book at our first choice and it was full! On a wednesday night in the middle of winter! Go figure. So next stop was the Whangamata Club. The atmosphere at the Whangamata Club is as expected, as it's a club. Tab, sports tvs, multiple areas in a barn of a place. That said we can't fault anything else. The staff were friendly and competent. The food arrived fast and was hot, generous and top quality. Excellent value for money. We would absolutely return. Well done Whangamata Club Team ...you absolutely nailed it all round.
Called in for a bite for lunch on a Sunday. Quiet and a chilled place to enjoy. Highly recommend the food - hasc never disappointed.
We stayed walking distance away and had a lovely time here, food was excellent & the locals so friendly, and the bar and club staff were excellent also, fun and helpful, highly recommend
