A really beautiful Marae!!!
Went here the other day,local people and residents were awesome aswell as helpful.
Wheelchair access to Wharekai on wet day difficult especially if Wharenui is closed.How does one get in, where is alternative?No signs.Also told my Careperson could not enter Wharenui to take me to Wharekai for our event, as had not visited Marae before.So there I sat till someone rescued me. Not good access on wet day.Late for meeting.
Waitangi Day Celebrations in partnership with Founders Park - had a great time there. Lots to see and eat. Entertainment spot on - would recommend this event as a must do when in town
Great day here on Wiatangi day with lots of variety of food and very popular.
