Great variety of food trucks and local arts and crafts. Plenty of free street parking parking nearby. Stalls are a mix of EFTPOS and cash-only, but you can get cash-out at the market, or nearby money machines.
I wish I lived in Whakatane so I could come here every Sunday, it's so well organised, easy to find with the amount of signage pointing you to it, awesome amount of vendors and great variety and the food!!! I left so stuffed because I was going crazy trying everything
