We provide Animal Services to the Whakatane District region. This page will showcase dogs that are available for adoption and will act as a forum to answer any questions you may have. We also offer Canine Education Programmes for various community groups, conduct school visits and offer an “Adults at Risk” programme.
We often have dogs come into our pound that are either surrendered or are unclaimed strays. We carry out temperament testing of all unwanted dogs and if deemed suitable, they are offered for adoption. We work hard to ensure that the dogs looking for homes are matched with suitable families, ensuring that they don’t end up back with us!
