Secluded, tranquil, private and yet still only a short distance from Taupo's restaurants and attractions.

Story

Whakaipo Lodge offers two beautifully appointed suites, each with its own private patio. Guests can relax in front of the log fire in the lodge lounge, or sit in the gardens, under a market umbrella and be entertained by native bird life, while enjoying a lovely New Zealand wine. Coffee is on-the-house naturally. Perhaps wander around the gardens and farm and say hello to our friendly sheep.

A absolutely stunning lodge and property! Our hosts Gareth and Angie are so lovely and make you feel so very welcome! The common area and fireplace makes thus a must stay! Absolutely great for couples. Loved my stay.
Angie and Garth really go the extra mile to make you feel welcome and at home. Lots of lovely little things added to the experience. Concierge, chef, guide, sommelier and friendly neighbours all rolled into one. And if you ask nice, they might even let you feed their sheep/lambs!! Thanks guys.
