The exterior looks tired, the doors are often locked, and when they are finally open during rugby games, they still leave a lot to be desired in terms of cleanliness and functionality.nnThe frustrating part is that this toilet block is in a prime location — right next to a well-used rugby field, walking paths, and a community space that sees regular foot traffic. Local families, joggers, dog walkers, and park users would all benefit from having reliable access to public toilets here, but instead, it’s treated like a temporary event-only facility.nnA public toilet should be available to the public. At the very least, it should be open during daylight hours every day — not just when there’s a rugby match on. Locking it up most of the time doesn’t serve the community and makes the area feel neglected.nnIt’s time the council took a serious look at this facility and invested in a proper upgrade. With better maintenance, modern fixtures, and regular opening hours, this could be a real asset to the community instead of an eyesore and an inconvenience.
