Weymouth by the sea is a no-fancy quiet, beautiful place, so much so that I am reluctant to even give this review, lest it attract too many visitors.nLiving in this area is handy, because everytime, and this is not rare, we have a gorgeous sunset sky, we can just walk to the end of Roys Road or any of the other streets.
Beautiful spot to watch the sun set. You can see the airport from this spot. During low tide you can go for a walk along the beach. There is also a car park. We usually enjoy having fish and chips at this spot
I believe that is a very amazing public Hotspot for locals to hang out and do some amazing exercise training classes and it's also Ideal for picnics and it's also where I used to go with my Renaissance Disability Group Support Worker and it it has exeloo public toilets with electronic doors and also a reserve and public playground and you can go swimming or fishing there nowadays but you must check online at safeswim to see if it's okay for swimming, fishing or collecting shellfish as it used to be very polluted from the factories and freezing works locations up along north to Onehanga and deemed to be very unswimmable and you could not go fishing there and you especially couldn't collect cockles and shellfish there, but overall it is by far a very unique tourist attraction and it's more like a sandy beach and you can swim there nowadays but you have to check if it's safe and only if the tides in, as it has its very own carpark and a great view and surrounded by neighborhood and up along the beach is pohutakawa trees and mangroves but overall it's great for summer BBQs and social events and fish'n chips on the beach and it's surrounded by bush and it's a great amazing coastal Hotspot in the Manukau Harbour.
Park looks a big t smaller, haven't been there for awhije now
