Westport Airport is an airport in Kawatiri, Westport, New Zealand.
Sounds Air has the only scheduled services into Westport, flying to Wellington using nine seat Pilates Pc12 aircraft. Air New Zealand had daily flights, operated by Eagle Airways Beechcraft 1900D aircraft, until April 2015. In 2007 Air West Coast connected Westport to Greymouth, Christchurch and Wellington; these services have been discontinued.

Great airport and great facility, BP AvGas and Jet A1. Public bathroom by hangar gardens, its cool to see air airport so close to the beach. Long Runway, IFR Procedures, PAL. Hertz and Thrifty Rental Car. Sounds Air Flights.
Flew from Westport to Wellington. Small friendly airport but don't expect too many services apart from checking in. They did have a small vending machine and a book shelf of reading material while you were waiting.
Friendly staff.
It's alright but too many planes. I think that if you got rid of all the planes this place would be a cool place to go. 1/5.
