Outstanding butcher. Highlights are sausages, beef and of course real British pork pies. Best in nz by a long way. Other goodies include - scotch pies, scotch eggs, black pudding and Bacon. Highly recommend.

Great butchery! Meat and sausages are high quality. I’m not a local but will go out of my way to shop here. Staff are always friendly and helpful.

If you love quality meat I'd go nowhere else other than here. Top quality meat, small goods & specialty meats. Good haggis, but sorry .... I guess my dad's haggis was highest quality and hard to beat.

Brilliant butchery and always fun to go and see what they have instore. Sausages are banging! Steaks are brilliant. Service is awesome!

I must say the meat from this Butcher is exceptional, I ordered Rolled Shoulder Pork to feed 70 people and 5kgs of Beef mince, now I know if you want quality meat you pay the moolah for it, and its worth it. The pork was absolutely delish roasted and the mince which I made into the good ol' savoury mince just mince and onions with a bit of magic browning an juice turned out amazing as well. This butcher has exceptional customer service, nothing is to hard, love it will be back again, and again. Thank you.

Westmere butchery came highly recommended by some local friends. We came, we saw, we drooled...and bought a substantial chunk of fresh and dried sausage. Also treated myself with what turned out to be a delicious scotch egg. Absolutely great butchers shop!

One of our favorite butchers in Auckland. However, lesson learnt to always personally select expensive cuts of meat. Ordered 5kgs of grade 6-7 wagyu over the phone and got confirmation they had it in stock. Showed up to pick up and they said they only have grade 8-9 in store which is quite a bit more expensive $199/kg, and they'd already packed it in a bag for me. A little bit of a hmmm but paid for it since I had already driven over. The pieces on top had beautiful marbling, but once I got home and unpacked the chilly bag, the ones on the bottom around 3 out of 14pcs had some pretty questionable marbling for it to have been graded 8-9. Quite obvious with a side by side comparison. Have attached photo with the questionable cuts to the right : Always pick your own cuts of meat, I guess. On the positive side, the staff who handled payment were awesome and friendly as always :

Great Butcher in Westmere and worth the drive to get there, fantastic selection and helpful staff. Cooked a beautiful Lemon Chicken boneless roast as in attached photo. Keep the good work up guys, will visit soon again.
