WESTCITY COMMUNITY GUIDELINES

Everyone is welcome to join in our social media channels, we love hearing from you guys.

With that in mind we've put together these guidelines to give you an idea of what’s okay and what’s not on. Facebook’s got some rules we need to follow as well.

Just like the ‘real’ world, our social media community is made up of an awesome variety of people with different views. So it's really important to respect each other and not use profanity (that’s the fancy way of saying please don’t swear folks, we have kids as fans too). It’s okay to disagree, we love a bit of banter, but please don’t abuse other people.

If you do cross the line, we reserve the right to remove posts and comments that could be offensive. That includes stuff like:

– violent, obscene, profane, hateful, suggestive or racist posts, links or images
– comments that threaten or defame any person or organisation
– solicitations, advertisements, or endorsements of any financial, commercial organisations
– off-topic posts by a single user; and
– repetitive posts copied and pasted or duplicated by single or multiple users

We might also have to block you from our social media pages altogether. No one wants that.

Please keep in mind we aren’t responsible for the views of others on Facebook – but if you do spot something that upsets or annoys you, please do get in touch and let us know.

Our team checks our Facebook page during working days, and we always try to get back to everyone as fast as we can. If something’s urgent, please call us on 09 978 6700.

This is a public page, so please think twice before sharing private information about yourself or someone else. Don’t include personal information you wouldn’t want a stranger to know!

Please message or call if you have a complaint or feel your content’s been wrongly deleted. Yep, turns out we’re human too, and sometimes we make mistakes.
