Saturday 18th of January 2026, I decide to treat my kids to Wendy’s we arrive at around 9:10pm we order our food and are served by a very polite boy Elroy. At around 9:25pm we were asked to leave, as were leaving I decide to search up what time Wendy’s closed, 10pm. I understand this isn’t a big deal but it’s the principle of things. I don’t appreciate being interrupted during my meal so they can close early for staff benefit. A paying customer should not have to leave early.
I’ve seen Wendy’s so many times in the US, but strangely, I had never tried it even once. I never expected my first visit to be in New Zealand!nI honestly assumed it wouldn’t be very good, but I was pleasantly surprised. Turns out, it was much better than I expected.
Their burgers were bland and the chips were too salty, lots of salt sprinkled in it. A coronary waiting to happen. There was no frosty dessert as well. When it's one of the trademarks of Wendy's. The place was not busy yet the tables was not wiped down. Really puts me off having Wendy's again. Really sad to see this chain falling in standards.
I get a baconator mush small size for the price I upsize the combo and it came without fries because I paid extra 1.5 to get a chili, it doesn’t makes sense at all why I should get a chili if you take away the fries, the chili came with 2 crackers and they where due, I will never gonna come back
Lots of parking outside and lots of seating inside. First time having Wendy's in a very long time and the staff member was super helpful, especially with sizes of combos.nBurgers were perfect sizes and not greasy. Flavourful and satisfying. Tried the chili, which is delicious.nAn enjoyable experience.
