Thank you for being a fan of WellSouth’s Health Promotion (HP) Team’s Facebook page. We participate in Facebook to help individuals and the community in the Southern Region to increase control over and improve their own health.
One of the key aims of WellSouth’s Health Promotion Team is for equity in health which calls for the participation of individuals, whanau and communities as key actors in improving a population’s health. Therefore, empowering communities, individuals and whanau lies at the heart of Health Promotion.
The Health Promotion Team provides content on Facebook to encourage participation in our health programmes and raise awareness of health issues facing our communities. We hope to contribute to creating a supportive environment for the community to lead healthy lives, and to strengthen community action for health.
