With mixed age play sessions and free adult education programmes families learn together.
Playcentre is about fun, quality early childhood education and learning alongside our children. We believe that parents and whanau are the first and best educators of their children!
The 19 Playcentres in the Wellington region are each run as co-operative by local parents and whanau, making for a very supportive community.
With mixed age play sessions (birth – school age), learning through child-initiated play and free adult education programmes there are benefits for both children and adults alike.
Our centres are licensed, follow Te Whariki (the Ministry of Education Early Childhood Curriculum) and we actively embrace our New Zealand heritage.
We invite you to come and visit your local centre or come to one of our upcoming events.
