Wellington airport is the best little airport for a capital city in the world. It serves as the entrance to Middle Earth and this is apparent by the amazing sculptures located within the facility. There are also lots of different retail and food options. Parking is expensive, which is the only negative and the only readon it doesn't get five stars. There are also plenty of tidy, clean and modern bathroom facilities. Worth a visit even if you are not travelling.

Arriving and departing Wellington is such a shabby and 'downer' visitor experience in comparison to Christchurch's wonderful airport.
