We had a wonderful experience, so much fun for the kids. The outdoor cart was the highlight for us.
Great nostalgic train journey. We were lucky enough to experience the night train and market in Waikari at the end of the line.nWe thoroughly enjoyed the carriages and especially the open air carriages.nWe enjoyed the detail paying homage to the time down to the conductor, and ticket takers' uniforms were authentic to the time. The Star and Garter's brazier kept us warm on a chilly autumn's night. Excellent hot chocolates and food options were offered by both the hotel and the End of the line Cafe 23, where the market stalls were set up.nWell done, everyone. Appreciate all the hard work and efforts going into making this possible.
Loved this Ride, Really Enjoyed the outdoor Carage it made the Ride much more like a train ride, the feel of clanking of the wheels going over the tracks, the noise of all and wind in my face, had hoped for a Sunset however the Weather wouldn't play ball lol Fantastic thank you
What a great Sunday afternoon outing, the entire crew was super kind, welcoming and especially child friendly, the kids had lots of fun! We thought it might be cold and even brought blanket haha but not at all!
Best train experience ever!!! Real steam train, and they will stop it in the middle of nowhere, offload you and give you an opportunity to take a video or photos while it’s moving such amazing people work there!!! We will be definitely back. Kids love it a lot!
