Hi, my name is Amanda. I am a professional hairstylist with over 15 years experience. I specialize in bridal, corporate events, balls and any other special occasion hair styling. This can range from a simple blow dry to the most complex hair-up. A thorough consultation will ensure you get your specific desired look for your occasion. I am a freelance stylist which gives you the convenience of me coming to your hotel or home to complete your look for you. I work in conjunction with a makeup artist who can provide you with the latest innovations in makeup. I look forward to working with you.

If you’re considering a winter wedding at The Winehouse this is your sign to do it!! Sam was the best communicator and made planning easy. Would highly recommend The Flower Room for your florals, they were a dream come true. The front lawn is the most gorgeous backdrop for an intimate wedding. Thanks so much guys!!
My partner and I got married here. Sam, Taylor and the team at the winehouse were absolutely amazing. They coordinated everything so we didn't have to stress too much. The food was delicious and the wine was superb. I couldn't have dreamt of a better wedding venue.
Thank you so much Sam and Tayla and everyone else involved for our wedding day for dealing with all the changes we've had over the last couple of years. My partner and I eloped last year which the Winehouse still helped organise even though it wasn't at the venue and finally had our reception there recently. The team were incredible and made the day flow seamlessly, allowing myself, my husband and all our guests to really let our hair down and enjoy the day. It was an incredible day, and I thank you all for all the work you did behind the scenes to make it that way.
WOW. Right from Day 1 I have been recommending The Winehouse as a venue to get married at. The location is breathtaking both inside and outside. As soon as you step on site you are blown away by the beauty of it all. And as soon as you walk into the doors you’ll need to catch your breath as the team will take your breath away. Sam and her crew are who you would always want on your team. The communication we had with Sam was flawless and efficient. She is enthusiastic and can answer any question you having racking around in your brain. I don’t know how many times we had contacted over the last 10 months but Sam was readily available whether by email or zoom. This is what we love!! We had went to a few venues prior but felt as though we fell through the cracks when it came to getting a reply. Not with The Winehouse!! It’s not only Sam we’d like to thank but also to Tayla and Ella for being the coolest of cats on the day. They were there for it all and the energy they brought to the day was outstanding! It was a country loving, line dancing match made in heaven with these two!! Also a shoutout from the entire guest list on the food. They can’t stop talking about the food, some are still dreaming about the mussels! We’ve also had great feedback from everyone as they are recommending The Winehouse to everyone who’s ears are turned on! It was one of the most enjoyable events that they have been to in a very long time! If you are looking for efficient, enthusiastic and genuinely excited people to work with on your upcoming wedding, this is the place!!! Thank you, I don’t doubt we will be seeing you all again soon! We can't even begin to describe how incredible the Winehouse was for our wedding day. The staff, the scenery, the small details - everything was absolutely perfect, and we're so glad that we chose the Winehouse for our special day. Thanks to all involved from the Winehouse for making the day as unforgettable as it was.
We were lucky enough to get married at Winehouse Queenstown in September 2021. There really is nothing else to say other than this is the perfect venue in every aspect! From the initial enquiry with Andy, to planning and details with Samantha and the planning and running of our wedding day, lead by Kim, everything was spot-on-perfect in every single way to the point that it was literally faultless. Throughout the process the communication from the team was beyond excellent. Andy, Sam and Kim go above and beyond to make your event personalised, special and one you will never forget, absolutely nothing is a problem! Unfortunately Covid-19 made us alter our event due to restrictions posed only days before our wedding date. The Winehouse Team took this in their stride and did everything humanly possible in helping us to reorganise our wedding so it could still go ahead, while meeting government requirements, all in just 3 days! The wedding day itself was better than perfect and something we will never forget. Everything ran seamlessly thanks to Kim and the fantastic team of Winehouse staff. Attention to detail was amazing, the venue looked breathtaking and the level of service given by the staff is something we have never experienced before! Catering organised by Winehouse through In2Food was exceptional. The quality of the canapès, main meals and dessert was to the level you would expect to see in a fine dining resturaunt. The best thing was Winehouse and In2Food were extremely adaptable in helping us customise menu and food options that reflected our theme, tastes and guest dietary requirements! If you are thinking of planning a wedding in the Queenstown region, then definitely get in contact with the Winehouse team, you would be mad not to! Also, when planning your wedding make sure you treat yourself to the heli flight up to the mountains...you will NOT regret it! Our wedding day really was the best day of our lives and it most definitely wouldn't have been what it was if not for Andy, Sam, Kim and the rest of the Team at the Winehouse, so thank you all for giving us a day we will never forget!
I cannot recommend Winehouse enough! We got married here in November 2022 and it went perfectly. Sam, Ella, Tayla and the Winehouse team are incredibly organised and reliable. We received so many compliments about Winehouse after the wedding - our guests said the food was the best they've ever had at a wedding, everybody said that the venue was incredibly beautiful amd everything ran seamlessly on the day thanks to Ella. We would 100% recommend Winehouse to anyone!
My partner Mere and I got married at the Winehouse in Nov 2022. Sam was amazing with all the planning, coordination & preparations which started 1.5yrs prior. On the week leading up Ella took over and she was also so great to work with. Our event on the day ran flawlessly, the food was so good, everything was so well coordinated and planned and all the staff were so great too. Loved every minute of it. We chose Winehouse as our wedding venue and it was amazing. Sam, Tayla and Ella were fantastic leading up to the day, giving us accurate initial quotes, quick replies and answering any questions via zoom meetings and emails. The venue is picturesque and the whole day was beautiful. Ella and the staff made sure everything ran smoothly on the day and it was perfect. All of our guests couldn't speak highly enough of the day and the food, and cake all prepared in house by Winehouse! were standouts along with the location itself. I would highly recommend Winehouse to anyone for their upcoming wedding or event.
Winehouse and their team are just beyond words. The venue itself is magical, the team is just beautiful to work with. I personally appreciate their support when we had to change our numbers every now and then, and right down to the last minute, with COVID-19 disrupting the visa applications of our guests. Thank you for helping us make our wedding the memorable occasion that it is. Several of our families and friends turn to our wedding day whenever the pandemic worries get too overwhelming, and it’s largely thanks to you. We cannot recommend you highly enough!
