Ang and the team at Wedderburn Tavern are great! Thanks for looking after the film crew so well for the last few months. We also used her pub accommodation. She has done such a great job upgrading that space. The guest I allocated LOVED staying there. Ang went above and beyond numerous times to help make us all feel welcome.
Sweetest, friendliest people. We came by this tavern around 9ish pm for a break as our daughter was cranky from the long drive. The kitchen was closed but she was offered apple juice and a bag of chips. Had a nice chat and soaked in the vibrant vibe in the tavern. Cheered the whole traveling crew up. We were properly recharged to continue our long journey. Would love to drop by some day for a proper meal & board! Thank you!!!!!
What a fantastic country pub. The food was fantastic, best fish garnet dinner. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Thank you for a great night.
Owner Ang and her team made our stay over at the Wedderburn Tavern a very pleasant one.nWe were given permission to park next to the taverns carpark allowing us to stay overnight in our caravans.nThe dinner that evening was exceptional and even checked out the dessert menu.nGot to get in a walk both around the tavern area and also the Wedderburn Lodge & Cottages across the road.
We popped in on our way through the Otago Rail Trail. The food was delicious and the beer selection good. Highly recommend this little spot.
