Absolutely loved going here again on a date night with my husband. All the staff especially our waiter was polite, welcoming and happy. The food was 1st class and service was second to none. We didn't have to wait very long at all for the food and drinks we ordered, and the restaurant was very busy. Will definitely look forward to going there again! Xx
Really great location. Staff and food Bang on Sunday Was busy but that didn’t let the service down Could eat here every day Food was fresh and very tasty Been to other places in the same chain of pubs and they are all amazing A***
Maybe I caught them on an off day. Starter popcorn chicken. The taste of the chicken was lost and was quite dry. Bacon chop. The apple sauce, I think it was apple but had very little flavour. The apple and ginger crumble was too sweet & I couldn't taste any ginger coming through. These are all minor grumbles, my 4 colleagues had no complaints at all so don't let my comments put you off trying this place. The service and staff were exceptional & it is nice to find a car park with plenty of spaces.

A fantastic place to have a party. We were a large group of 40. We had chosen our meals in advance and they arrived with our names. Three waiters were assigned to our private room. There was a small bar in the centre . Circular tables were arranged with eight places set. There is a small dance floor so after our meal we could spend time dancing to music which we had provided . Everyone seemed to enjoy their meals. A slight problem arose when there weren't enough raspberry frangipanes for 20 of us. Five ladies had to opt for a different dessert. I thought if you booked and paid for your meals in advance this couldn't happen ? A criticism of the sea bass meal was that the mound of crushed potatoes was quite lumpy and didn't taste very good. The sauce and fish were excellent.
Myself amd my husband have just visited here for the first time. Absolutely amazing food & the staff were so friendly. Our waiter Dave was absolutely fantastic and made us feel like we've visited there a million times before. Nothing was too much for him, he was like a breath of fresh air. We will be back to visit again in the future.
Although the food and the staff were very pleasant, there were several things that made me give a 2 star rating which is quite rare for me. Firstly the room was very cold and despite this being mentioned to the waitress nothing was changed. Secondly, the wait for food was nearly an hour after we arrived, and thirdly the beer that is was served had a best before date that was two months out of date this was rectified by the waitress. This establishment is usually so much better than today's experience, which quite surprised me.

Review 2023 ,5 Yet again excellent food , services, they had an offer on Monday-Thursday for a 2 course meal £18 and 3 courses £22. Never had this menu before. There were only a few choices on the menu . We tried it and the portions were the same size as before. The food was delicious and staff were excellent. Love coming here . We paid £63 for two people with two large glasses of wine and 1 coffee. The deco is beautiful . We will be back again it’s my husbands favourite place. 5 2023Excellent service, friendly staff, fantastic food, lovely clean toilets with a lovely fragrance. More expensive but worth it.
