Story

Unleash your inner Earth Mother and ditch the plastic! Waxy Wraps last up to 6 months, are reusable and can be composted at the end of their lifespan. Beautiful cotton designs that are infused with bees' wax, essential oil and natural resin offer the perfect alternative to plastic wrap.

My daughter came home from school with a wax wrap project one day. One very impressed mother! I loved the idea, but beeswax alone made the wrap crack. Seeing it was also not very pliable, I decided to do some research, tweak the recipe and taadaaaaaa - Waxy Wraps were born.

Why THESE wraps?? They are super grippy, pliable, anti-bacterial and the beautiful designs offer a bit of eye candy for your lunch box!

I offer two packs:
Small (18x20cm) and Smallest (12x15cm) - $15. PERFECT for little treats, cut vegetables, crackers, etc.

Big (27x29cm) and Biggest (33x35cm) - $25. Use these big boys to deal to sandwiches, blocks of cheese, etc.

Because the wraps are handmade, there might be small discrepancies between wraps. The natural resin might also leave a little bit of plant matter in the infusion - it all makes for a unique artisan product.

Care instructions:
Wash like a plate (do not wring) in lukewarm soapy water and let the wrap drip dry. To protect the lifespan of your wrap, do not wrap raw meat or acidic fruit. The wax will be affected by the acid, and raw meat just won't be sanitary as you can't put the wrap in the dishwasher.

Your wrap should last between 6-12 months. May every lunch box sport a beautiful Waxy Wrap!
