Very average place to stay. Looks nothing like the photos on Google which shows a nice blue pool and spacious rooms. The pool is now a green cesspit. The much anticipated breakfast was disappointing and lacklustre, couldn’t cut or bit through the toast. The old inoperable venetian blinds added to the decor. We paid $220 cash, not value for money, other places we are paying around $150-180 and getting great rooms and normal edible breakfast’s. At least the sheets were clean.
Very accommodating and great hospitality breakfast bacon, eggs, baked beans and toast was super yummy they also have muesli, yoghurts, fruit salad on the table ready for you to eat. Bed was nice, comfy and warm I do recommend upgrading the shower head though, the pressure was really low other than that everything else was perfect.
I recently stayed at this b&b in Kaitaia with my mum Daphne who is in a rest home normally and 96. The host Alistair was amazing with her and adopted her as aunty Daphne. We had a lovely unit very comfortable beds lovely little deck to sit out in. I found was very clean as I notice being from a hospitality background.nUnfortunately our stay was cut short due to mum's health. The breakfast was amazing with choice of cereal and toppings followed by bacon and eggs. Yes driveway a little tricky to manoeuver but other positives made up for it. Well done team!
The Host, the area, the breakfast, the accomodation, 10/10!!! We got this room very spontaneously and we couldn’t complain about anything. The host was super friendly and he made us a delicious breakfast in the morning! The bed’s were heated and the room had everything we needed. The location was super central so you just had to walk 5 minutes and you were at the Main Street. I definitely would recommend this place with 5!!
Friendly owner who knows how to whip up a good bacon and eggs breakfast. Rooms were filled with bugs and dust while shower pressure is somewhat low. Roads were a bit bumpy.
