We had an incredible experience with the team specially Travis, our pilot on our ride to Roy’s Peak! He was very accommodating, friendly, and went out of his way to make our trip memorable. He provided excellent guidance on the best photo spots and made sure we felt safe every step of the way. We did the Wanaka Max yesterday. What an incredible experience with Wanaka helicopters! Everyone made us feel comfortable. Mike our pilot explained us the environment while flying over the landscapes. Wanaka Helicopters is a small company located at the airport. We decided to book a flight on short notice, and it was the best decision ever. Our pilot Jason, but also the really kind lady at the reception were absolutely gorgeous and took care of us. The price we paid and the value amazing views we got, was more than fair! Jason is not only a pilot, he provided us a lot of facts and figures around Wanaka and the region during our flight. We highly recommend this company, and we would definitely do it again! Thank you so much!
From Nikki in the ground team, to Chris piloting the helicopter - all the staff at Wanaka Helicopters were welcoming, professional and super accommodating! The flight was exhilarating and so insightful - the formation of glaciers and their changing forms were showcased up close and well explained. My 9yo son and I would highly recommend Wanaka Helicopters to all! Thanks for an awesome experience!!
