Founded by mother of three Mandy Enoka, Wanaka Baby is your one stop shop for all things travel and of course all things baby!

If you are planning a trip with baby on board it can certainly be an anxious time. Your precious cargo has specific needs, especially when you reach your destination. Our aim is to make quality baby hire equipment accessible and make it super easy for you to hire all your baby “must haves”.

Wanaka Baby gives you a great selection of baby equipment for hire ranging from car seats and cots to all those bits and pieces in between. We have a huge selection of gender and age specific toys, prams and highchairs to suit your little people.

The owner was super chill and cool - unfortunately we came in when it was pouring and were unable to use the balcony but there wasn't much of a view anyway the rooms are small and a bit dated with not many windows but they are super cozy and the breakfast area is cozy, rustic, and convivial. Lovely fresh food and friendly staff, and great location as we were all of 5 minutes walking to restaurant and the gorgeous lake front, which is absolutely beautiful - with snow capped mountains! in the summer!
This lodge is in a good location to walk around Wanaka. It's an older lodge with comfy bed and pillows. TV in room, no ac. There was a good breeze so we didn't need it but there was a fan in the closet. The staff was wonderful! Kyla at reception cheerfully helped us with dinner reservations, Cody fixed an awesome breakfastbest wishes on your wedding! and Mandy at reception held our luggage while we enjoyed a long hike after checking out. Afternoon tea /treat were also nice.
Loved our stay in this comfortable Lodge. Lovely room, comfortable bed, great shower, friendly Receptionist, delicious cooked Breakfasts + fruit & Toast, relaxing Spa, cosy shared Lounge, good Laundry, excellent parking and 5min walk to the centre of Wanaka. 2mins walk along the road is a beautiful small park with a stone bridge over the stream, grassy area under the trees to relax and eat, cheaply and well from the 6 onsite Caravans. Loved our stay.
I stayed here as a backpacker looking to treat myself for a night. I was made to feel so welcomed which really meant a lot to me. The facilities are charming & homely. The bed was very comfortable, room a great size, everything perfectly clean. The robes for use were a great treat as well! The lodge would be great for anyone - singles, couples, families! Couldn’t recommend enough & will definitely be back with my partner. Thanks again
Homely BnB well-located near the centre of town. Staff were friendly and allowed me to reschedule my stay at no extra cost as I tested positive to coronavirus two days before I was scheduled to arrive in Wanaka. It was a nice place but the rooms were quite small and the lodge experience did seem a bit overpriced to me.
Amazing location in Wanaka, staff were lovely and accommodating making us feel at home right away. Room was clean and spacious with a mountain view. Great water pressure in the bathroom Breakfast was fantastic, with a varied range of selections. At night the fireplace was always on giving a cozy winter vibe and could help ourselves to tea and coffees as we liked which was appreciated. Hot tub was perfect after a long day. Staff gave great options for us despite not having a car and we will definitely be recommending this place to others.
Dirty smelly rooms, shower curtains torn and moldy. Garden unkept. Just a sorry excuse for an accommodation. Go anywhere else. You will be much better off guaranteed.Rooms: 2/5
The hosts were lovely,breakfast was nice. Although the rooms were clean,the beds were rickety and uncomfortable. Bad nights sleep definitely not a 4star hotel
Excellent stay! My partner and I stayed here for 2 weeks. Great value for money and the staff are absolutely amazing. We throughly enjoyed the hot tub and the delicious breakfast every morning. Located only a few minutes walk from shops, restaurants and the bus stop, it was perfect! Thank you to everyone to the staff that made our stay 100%!! Would definitely recommend this place and will be coming back next year! Thanks again team! See you again soon Emma & Tom
We stayed here during our trip to New Zealand. We stayed in 21 different hotels/B&B's during our month stay. This one was by far the worst and most expensive. Rooms our small and noisy. The woman at the front desk seemed nice at first, but once she found out we were from America she became very rude and mocked us. Breakfast was awful; microwaved eggs and toast. We left after only one night stay. Owner was not willing to refund us the full amount of our unused night. Fortunately our credit card company stepped in and reimbursed us for the full price of the unused night. Save yourself the trouble and stay anywhere else. We have stayed in many hostels that were much better then this place.
