What a cute cafe nestled in nature. Such a good vibe, beautiful energy. They have beautiful indoor and outdoor dining. Friendly staff. Coffee had a good punch and meal was delicious. Perfect little cafe :
I was recommended here by a friend who said it was dog friendly, which it is. It is hidden away, but definitely worth looking for. Car parking could be an issue but we were lucky. Really nice atmosphere, LOVELY staff. Inside and outside the dog friendly bit seating. Kids play area Would I go back if I was in the area? Hell, yes.
Had a late breakfast with visitors from Greece and two of their friends from New Zealand. Food was a little average but adequate, prices were not bad. Presentation was O.K. Coffee was good. A bit of a mix up with the orders , but worked out in the end. Staff were friendly. Parking: Sunday was fine plenty of spaces, be a little weary that during the week there are other businesses that may use some park areas.
Had a beautiful meal here at Walnut, super friendly staff and excellent service. The food came out very quickly and all at the same time. High quality food and a delicious slice. And beautiful nature and scenery Highly recommend for anyone. Definitely will be back!!

I've been a couple of times, over the past year, and the experience was pleasant and the food was nice. The first time I was there, I wouldn't rave about the food, as I had ordered the fish chowder/pie and while it tasted OK, I pulled out a number of bones. Staff apologised when we showed them. Second time I visited, I ordered the Moroccan chicken burger $26, it was a decent serving, which also came with chips, and was much more enjoyable. The cranberry drink I ordered was OK, but I'm never fond of ordering a juice or fizzy, as I feel it's just a money-maker for establishments - it has to be really good tasting and a decent serving without lots of ice cubes, for me to rate them!. The cottage itself is very quaint and has its own character. I do feel like it hasn't realised it's full potential however. The front of house staff were lovely and the waitresses carried out their tasks well. Work ons: maybe some soft background music, or even sound bird/forest music to match the native bush it's beside, just to add a bit of ambience. And parking area needs a bit of love, especially when it's wet, don't wear your best shoes.
Nice place but way expensive and poor prawn salads!!! A little bit of vege salads and nothing special mayo sauce and not big 8pieces of prawn are $32!!!! Very disappointed!!!!!
What a delightful little place this is! It was so lovely sitting outside amongst the trees, the whole place has a very warm atmosphere. It is a little pricey for the amount of food that you get, but it is definitely very delicious.Food: 5/5
Scrambled eggs with toast, $15, portion meagre and chef needs to be shown how to make. choice of bread, no butter, had to ask, most expensive I’ve seen for this. Other meal and both coffees were forgotten, had to remind, when finally arrived it looked nice but $5 for 1 small piece of bacon. Coffee very average, if nothing else get your coffee right.
Really nice place to enjoy your coffee, teas and food in the garden. Plenty of shade for your pet dog to be with you. Great service. Enjoyable food too. Inside areas are lovely to relax in. .Food: 5/5
