Story

Waiuku’s iconic Steel ‘n’ Wheels Festival for 2017 promises new and exciting attractions with plenty of exhibits and family entertainment.

Come and see the huge display of hot-rods, bikes, classic and vintage cars, trucks, military vehicles and displays, memorabilia and much more!
Attractions will include Helicopter joy rides, Military battle re-enactment & display, Emergency Services display, The “Nitemare” dragster and “Gubbs” dragster fire-ups, Air display, the “Bottle-O V8 Chainsaw”, Chainsaw racing, Car crush and Car cutting display, a Kids carnival, Kids motorbike racing and more.
Entertainment will include “Austin Powers”, the top “Elvis” impersonator in Australasia, rock bands “No Way Back” and “Loose Units”, the “Waiuku Country Music Club band”, the “Sunset Coast Big Band”, “The Contingent” hip hop dance crew, Line dancing and more, with something for everyone!
Browse the huge craft and food market and enjoy some Waiuku hospitality at the wonderful cafe’s, restaurants and bars.

Gold Coin entry per person. Plenty of parking is available in the Waiuku Business Park opposite Z station on Kitchener Rd, at View Road School, Kevin Lawrence reserve behind the Library/Service centre on King St and in Victoria Ave . Disabled parking is available next to the St. John Ambulance headquarters in Constable Rd.

Certified self contained parking for motorhomes for this event is available at 30 Constable Rd. $8 per night per vehicle. No bookings required. More info at http://www.mhftowns.com
