Waitomo Sew Worms was opened in October 2012 as a Quilt store selling everything you need to sew and quilt as well as an amazing range of craft supplies.
Growing up in the country on a rural farm and living in a small rural community has given Sharon the owner of Waitomo Sew Worms an appreciation for all things that nature has to show us. From beautiful sunsets to amazing flora and fauna. She has taken photos of these gems and expanded them into her “quilting stash of ideas”. She has pursued her passion for quilting since 2008 and has endeavored to share as much knowledge as possible with her student. Sharon had put her passion and enthusiasm for quilting into a shop, to share her creativity with everyone.
Waitomo Sew Worms is located on a one way street in Te Kuiti at number 4 Sheridan street, which has a range of small shops that are owned and run locally. Waitomo Sew Worms are open Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm and Saturday by appointments. We also run sewing classes for all ages.
