If you want to experience the farm living style and this is the right place to choose. My family and I did enjoy the stay here. The host is very nice and easy to communicate. She prepared the pastry , milk and fresh egg from ranch for us. The farm trip is a must-do, and highly recommanesed. We will be back again.
Cool as place to stay, very cheap with free hot showers, lots of things to look at. Cute little meet the animals walk with the kids it was my favorite . Highly recommend.
The place is really interesting, old fashioned, with a lot of artistic pieces everywhere. Shower is ok, hot, medium pressure, clean. Toilets are also clean and not smelly. Kitchen has 2 sinks and only one oven, a portable one with just 2 cooking spots. Toaster works good and is clean. The ladie in the office was very nice and the check in is very easy, just pay and get your spot. I would come back
Such a lovely Campground. It is all based on honesty and has a fair price at 15$ pp. Included are free showers, a toilets, laundry, a nearly full equipped kitchen and many animals to see. Especially Charlie the goat which hears on it's name is cute to see. There are 3 people living on the Campground which are very friendly too. When we arrived the instantly told us what to see and where to go in the region.
A good and cheap stay for 1-2 nights. The facilities are rusty but more or less clean. Wouldn’t recommend to go there when it is raining though, because everything feels a bit wet then.
Our AirBnB hosts were very welcoming. They even prepared breakfast for us in the fridge a loaf of bread, some yoghurt, jam, butter and orange juice. Would love to stay with them again if I am visiting Waitomo!
Really enjoyed the facilities here, close access to the caves, and the animals you can visit! Lovely spot
Lovely little place with very clean and comfortable accommodation and super friendly staff : highly recommend it!
Really comfortable stay. It's great to have your own little house for a couple days rather than a room or a log cabin. You can also ask the owner if you can join her feeding the animals in the morning. The only downside was that it was an old building and needed lots of repairs. A lot of door handles were broken but still useable and a the bathroom and second bedroom doors scraped across the floor. The french door was very weak.
cool place to stay for a night! nice kitchen area with lights, cooking stuff and powerplugs for your phone. there's also hot showers and plenty of space for tents and small campervans. for the price it really is a great choice!
