Charming historic hotel with lovely staff. Handy location for local tourism including to see glow worms. Rooms was a little dated but is to be expected with an older property.
Lovely big old hotel. Takes you back in time, which you can also read as 'needs a bit of work'. But still clean and tidy. I stayed in a standard room, which was quite basic - no hairdryer or beside table and lamp, but the breakfast was good and the staff were friendly.
I love this place. It's so old school and vintage. It's a great place to come stay and apparently hosts it's own ghost history. Close to the glow worm caves and away from the busy cities.
Lovely old hotel. Friendly staff and good service. Could benefit from a renovation.
Beautiful old rooms as we love historic buildings. The first lady on front desk wasn't very friendly when we arrived. She did later give us a heater and hair dryer for the room when I said we didn't have one. The lady at breakfast room was lovely though and they a vegan option of muesli with coconut yogurt which was yummy.
Loved the historical vibe here !
