Story

A family-friendly mountain bike park located off Bayly Road, Waitangi. Currently 10 trails with many more planned for development. Riders are encouraged to register as a rider on the website for $25 per year. All registered riders receive many benefits and discounts from local businesses.



"Caters to all levels of ability. Waitangi Mountain Bike Park provides the perfect introduction to mountain biking with some easy, scenic trails that you can take at your own pace, through to more advanced tracks. It offers 40+ trails of varying difficulty with great flow and features, from introductory downhill riding, jump trails, cross country and beginner trails. There are plenty of fast, flowing berms, rollers and jumps. Grade 2 and 3 runs are so well built, they’re still fun for more advanced riders. All up there are five zones to be developed so there’s still plenty more trail development planned in the years to come."

My new favorite place to ride. Awesome, well maintained and flowing single track. Most of the track is sheltered from the sun and is very well marked.
Kudos to Jonny and the team who do an amazing job. We spent 3.5 hours out here over from Aus, and had a blast using the Husqvarna e-bikes! While mostly beginners we enjoyed every track that were recommended! Thank you!
Its a must to do when you’re in Paihia, trail is been looked after and lots of trail options from beginners to advance,you can hire bikes/Ebike, shuttle bus friendly and helpful we haven’t used the shuttle but they help us to navigate. Definitely recommend the shuttle so you can enjoy the downhills. Nice cafe with great food to fill up your tommy or simply an ice cream and coffee after you finish your ride,very welcoming staff and lovely people.
One of my best days of riding. Hired an e-bike to keep up with insanely skilled racing hubby and the trails were flow, flow, flow. I didn't realise how quickly 4hrs passed. The crew at the park were fun, knowledgable and accommodating. Thanks team, you're awesome at your jobs!
Cycling at the Mountain Bike Park 3-4 times a week. We are very lucky to have such a great facility on our doorstep. This afternoon I saw a Morepork other times wild pigs, peacocks, hedgehogs, its amazing, I can even cycle through the forest to Kerikeri! What’s stopping you?
Great tracks with levels 2 to 5. Excellent on site crew. Hire or take your own bike full manual or E bike to suit ability and fitness and age.

My e-bike had a tune up & a complete overhaul on my partner's bike which has been sitting in an outside shed all winter. Offering great workshop services. Using second parts where they can to save the pennies & the planet.
Absolutely Awesome, some of the best purpose built Mountain Bike Trails I have ever ridden. We spent 3 hours riding in the morning and another 3 in the afternoon. Fav trails, Aotearoa, Magic Carpet and Rollercoaster. Even the climbing trails are beautifully crafted and great to ride!. Get up there Peeps and enjoy.
