Very friendly and welcoming staff. We were right in front of the river with a beautiful sunset view.nTown center and view of bay of islands is walking distance. This was our last stop after a very hectic two month daily driving schedule. We stayed here for four nights, and it gave us time to rest, wind down, and be ready to move back to real life. I am already missing scenic New Zealand, and I am still in Auckland.
The cabins were cozy and comfortable. They offered everything we needed to have a fanatsic stay! Great quality beds and lovely bedding.nBathrooms were spotless.nStaff were welcoming and friendly.nWe will definitely be back!
Beautiful location. Easy walk into Paihia and to supermarket. Staff were super friendly and helpful on arrival. Seemed to all genuinely enjoy working together which made for a welcoming environment. Great value for money when compared to other sites in the area.
We stayed there for three nights over the New Year period and loved it. Good value for where is located: you can walk to Paihia and take a ferry to Russel if you want.nnIt has a nice kitchen that is always clean, clean bathrooms with unlimited hot showers and everything you need when camping with your family.nnAnd last but not least the staff is pretty awesome, from Marianne that found a great spot for us to camp there last minute to the always helpful Brian, Damien and Anthony sorry if I misspelled any names. Everyone super attentions and contribute a lot to the vibe of the camping site.nn10/10 recommend and hopefully will be coming back to stay with these guys.
Great spot and good facilities when it was relatively quiet, stayed for 3 nights.nnPrices have almost doubled since we stayed here last about 6 years ago which would explain why it was so quiet. Would have loved to see more tent campers and they've got the space for it.nnWill probably go elsewhere next time due to the cost.
