Best Badminton Venue in Auckland!nnIf you’re a badminton enthusiast—whether a pro or an amateur—this is the best place to play in Auckland! With ample courts, you’ll never have to wait long for a game. The facility is well-maintained, providing a great environment for both casual and competitive players.nnWhat sets this place apart is the availability of skilled coaches who can help refine your technique, making it ideal for players looking to improve. On top of that, they offer a great selection of branded badminton merchandise, so you can gear up with quality equipment.nnHighly recommend this spot for anyone passionate about badminton!
This is the usual place I go when I want to play badminton. Haven't really been to much other places so I can't compare the price but $10 for half an hour is a bit on the pricier range. It used to be lower I think.nI like the system where you can book online anywhere, or bring your card and book there. Usually it works and it's pretty easy to use.nThe most annoying thing is when there are people playing Badminton in the session before me and then when the lights go on and off, they are still playing, and a few times I've had to tell them to get off the courts.nIt's annoying because I know that they know that they shouldn't be there, but they are. And I see a lot of the times that people play without the lights and stuff.nI know the second I try that, the owner is coming there and will spot me and I will get banned or something.nIt's just annoying spending money and then getting it cut off by insolent people, or spending money while others are playing completely for free.nOtherwise I really like playing here and there is a small shop, vending machine with cold drinks, places to sit down, it makes this Badminton Centre a bit better than the usual I think.
$16 per court hire is quite expensive.. when the lights go out for the court hire, the place is pitch Black! Nice big carpark and community though. Courts are decent too, certainly on the better side. Staff are very friendly and helpful and they work very late too which is fantastic.
Excellent courts, but it's terrible to deal with this guy Paul Shirley, very arrogant and/or racist not sure. Didn't let me to walk inside his office, he was talking to me from behind office glass door. It seems they don't want new members. If you can avoid this place.
Excellent facilities for badminton a total of around 10 courts, well maintained and good lighting. Perfect place for catching up with friends over a game of badminton or for hosting a tournament.nThe pro shop also has great products on display.nEasy to find location just off the motorway
