Delicious ice cream! Free honey samples and lots of products to buy. Definitely a great stopover destination while travelling north of Wellington.
This is a cool place to visit, they have a viewing glass so you can see the bee's working their hive and your able to find the queen bee. And if Yr a bee keeper or would like to be, they have all the equipment to help you. Yum Home made ice-cream plus other items to purchase. This is a must stop on your way to Wellington or North.
All you need is right here. Honey of all descriptions, soaps crams sweets and mead. Ice cream made with honey and fig, or honey and Passionfruit, Honey and Bailey's, everyone was walking in the door straight up to the counter. Friendly staff and all uour bee keeper needs are there too. Don't drive past call on in.

The honey Ice cream there is BEEautiful !! I'ld also recommend the sweets. Its definitely worth a visit if you are driving past.
