This school is horrible, not only do students not care about others but also teachers...
Reviews
This school feels as if it was forged from molten rock pulled straight from hell. Brazen, unprincipled, and utterly disrespectful when it comes to acting in the best interests of its students. Time and time again, they refuse to take accountability for their harmful decisions, while being fully aware of the damage they cause not only to students, but to the wider community such as family as well.nnWhat makes it worse is how far they’re willing to take things. They hold grudges. They poke and provoke. It is genuinely pathetic watching grown adults target children who are clearly exhausted and disillusioned by this school’s failures.nnA CLEAR example is what happened to a Year 9 student in 2024. This student was restrained in a choke metaphorically by a teacher who had an obvious personal conflict with him. That same teacher failed to complete and sign documentation that would have allowed the student to receive a proper mental health diagnosis, this paper would take maximum of 10 minutes at best, and she held onto it for over a month, this support that could have provided understanding and accommodation for his uncontrollable behaviour, but instead of helping him, she withheld that support and continued to push him until he finally cracked.nnFrom there, the school chose not compassion, but cruelty. They smeared his name, expelled him, and justified it with the excuse. “We don’t have the funding for you to be here.” A child’s future discarded for the sake of convenience.nnThat student’s life is now significantly derailed, and the responsibility lies squarely with this institution. Not just for him, but for the countless other children who have been chewed up and burned by the school’s poor leadership, mismanagement, and lack of basic humanity.nnIt is not just disappointing. It is disgraceful.
Andrew Hoskins is amazing. Love the auditorium size and stage. Fantastic for us
Nice School,Only Been there a few times during the school holidaysn+ I also go there during school holiday programme
Amazing school as a current student I think it's a great school to send your child to and there is lots of support from the teachers.
Not the best for ur mental health here, i was quite sad their. When i went to the mental hospital in lower hutt, literally 50% of the paitents there, including me, were waicol alumni
