We stopped at Waipu Hotel and Sports Bar for dinner on a beautiful sunny Saturday evening 14/01/2023. Inside was busy, so the lovely lady on duty this evening suggested the outside seating. Perfect. The local cats also came over to visit and ask for some tasty treats. The service was freindly, our meals came out to us hot and delicious
Extremely long wait time and poor service — made to wait 30 mins extra for kids chicken nuggets they missed. Pad thai was dry so wouldn’t recommend if you like a saucy one.Service: 1/5
Called in here for dinner lastnight as driving through, saw they had new owners. The meals were delicious & flavoursome, they came out super fast and decent sizes. The service was impeccable and staff were super friendly. Nice seperate dining area to from the main bar so like being in a restaurant. Couldn’t rave about this place enough and was priced well to. Also accommodated perfectly for my 2.5yr old daughter which can be hard to find. Thankyou so much for the amazing and relaxing service we will deff be calling in here again on our travels. :
Nice country pub, popular with locals, and pretty popular with vacationers, during holidays, that are staying around waipu cove! Was their to use TAB, but unfortunately, like a lot of places, had removed their terminal, and replaced it with Self Service machines, which were both 'Out Of Order'?

Rice was so dry and crusty it had food bits in it from someone's unfinished plate revolting. As a takeaway I didn't get what I ordered...I hate baby corn and ordered a dish without it so how does it end up in mine along with stray prawn tails without a prawn attached, because it was scraped off a leftover meal it looked like. We ordered extra rice but just got served a regular portion which was leftover from previous dinner the night before scraped off plates and reserved. Also ordered cashew nuts which were stale...over rated wouldn't recommend at all.

Beautiful food! Was so surprised I must say. We had padthai, fried rice and Lamb shank. All of them were big servings and so yummy! Definitely recommend. Nice dinning area too.
Wonderful Thai food in a very nice looking restaurant in the separate section next door to the bar. Parking very close nearby. A wide range of choices plus quick lunch menu if you wanted. A great find
