Such an awesome spot! Goody Goody is always pumping, and it’s not surprise why. The owner is lovely and has done a fantastic job with the place. The staff are super friendly and I’ve always had great service to match. I’d highly recommend trying one of the menu options can never go wrong with the Eggs Bene, but if you are in a hurry there are plenty of great cabinet options. Enjoy! A nice little Cafe in waipu, they have great sourdough bread with the meals, nice and toasty. The bacon is very good and eggs well cooked. The hollandaise sauce was so so, but good value so overall very happy.
We were here today. The servers were super friendly and the cous cous salads we had absolutely amazing. As a dessert we had two cappuccinos and a date scone which was really tasty and was accompanied by delicious butter. You can even buy organic eggs here! The toilet was spotless and a dream for a traveller in a campervan. All in all I can highly recommend to stop here! It's totally worth to leave the highway for this Café!
Friendly service and very healthy creamy mushrooms, tasty bacon with little fat, fresh greens and super bread. Sticky table needs a bit more attention perhaps. I will be back.

Friendly staff at the counter. Very upbeat and lovely vibe. So, so sorry but this was the worst big breakfast I ever had. Coffe was served barely warm as well. Extremely sorry to write this review but only reason why I am writing it is for someone to look into making some adjustments and put a bit more love into breakfast meals as your cabinet food looked amazing. Wish I grabbed something from the cabinet instead and some cold drink as this was very disappointing experience. Your big breakfast lacked tomatoes on the plate to help cut through the not very nice bacon honestly that bacon tasted awful and tomatoes chutney was like runny tomato soup. Far to much bread on the plate. Please don't be made for this review. And please look into making some adjustments to that meal. Wish you and your staff well.
We've had food here a few times now. Everything we've had has had an unexpected flavour twist that just added the wow factor. Our regular stop now, when traveling. Lovely staff too.
Hands down... this is the best Café I’ve been to during my trip through New Zealand! The pies are delicious! Stopped here on our way through... not many options in the cabinet so ordered from the menu. Very disappointing service from the cashier who had can English accent who was very impatient and rude. The food was satisfactory but came out 15 minutes apart so I had almost finished my food before my family got theirs. I ordered the macaroni cheese for my son and it was so hot that he would have scolded himself so I had to get another plate to cool it down before we could give it to him. The rest of the staff were friendly but never mentioned the hot plates when passing them to us.
