Waipahihi Botanical Gardens

Absolutely stunning gardens. Beautiful views of lake Taupo. Lots of different pathways meandering through gorgeous native bush.

Sorry i don't know why i had a 1 star rating. Changed it to 5 because this botanical reserve really is an amazing experience to walk or even drive around. Highly recommend for your next walk.

Cool place to take kids to go find rocks with art on them my little cousin really enjoyed it

Not flower season it seems. A bush drive. Very nice, but I wouldn't want to be up there alone.

More of a forest than a garden. Lots of birds in the trees. Pretty nice overall, one paved path with smaller trails off the side. Parking has easy access.

Really nice n bushy botanical gardens, didn't quit have time for a decent look around, but nice spots to park up along the one way road, got nice bush walks here too, I'll pop in next time I'm in Taupo. Sunday 24 January 2021.

Always a great place to relax in. Heaps of fantastic plants and shrubs in flower with lots of bird life. Well worth a visit. Thanks to the volunteers who do all the work.
