WBSLSC is the local Surf Life Saving Club down at Waikuku Beach. With over 50 Lifeguards actively patrolling the beach this summer and a substantial coaching programme every Saturday morning, our club is for families, individuals and anyone in between. Very good beach for surfing. My first real wave caught in my life.
This beach is my local and really enjoy going there during the week for a quick walk or swim. On the weekends it's rather busy, safe place to swim with the life saving club being there. They are only there until 5pm though so take someone with you outside these hours if your swimming. Parking can be an issue when its busy but parking space is beside the lifesaving club or down the road and round the park with a short walk.
My local beach. Great for long runs, surf when it's on and general fun times.
