We stopped here briefly for a break during a long drive and had a great experience. The reception team was super friendly and happily accommodated our late check-in. The non-powered site was spacious, perfect for our truck and rooftop tent. The toilets and kitchen facilities were clean and well-maintained. This charming, homestyle campground was a great value for money, and the short walk to the beach was a bonus. Thanks, team!
Paid $50 for a peice of hard rocky ground on a slope to pitch a tent for 2 people for one nightn$50 for this and they charge $1 for the shower for 6 minutes.Very over priced.nNot a favourite camp ground
Fantastic camp and facilities. Safe swimmingbeach. Love it
I use the beach and foreshore to run my dogs. I walk south from Waikuku down to Woodend. They are very safe beaches and sheltered from the strong norwesterly winds. Interesting birds and infrequent seals pups resting on the beach. Beach is surf patrolled by club members in weekends. Recommended for family activities.
Modern, comfortable cabins and friendly staff. will definitely be staying again.
