Perfect stay for me, stayed for over a week. Room nice clean and up to date. Nice close to the beach. Only 30min drive to Christchurch city centre 10min to rangiora where you can get everything you need. Had plenty of questions for the staff what all have been answered. Overal a very good stay and will be back.
Price jumped from $25 a night to $50 a night in less than 12 months — a clear case of price gouging.nnUpdate in response to the owner:nAppreciate the reply. The so-called upgrade brings the park up to the basic standard of other campsites in the area — that’s maintenance, not added value. Doubling the price while claiming market alignment is opportunism, not improvement.
We stopped here briefly for a break during a long drive and had a great experience. The reception team was super friendly and happily accommodated our late check-in. The non-powered site was spacious, perfect for our truck and rooftop tent. The toilets and kitchen facilities were clean and well-maintained. This charming, homestyle campground was a great value for money, and the short walk to the beach was a bonus. Thanks, team!
Have just stayed in one of the cabins.. Very spacious and clean and well equipped. Good value for money
Paid $50 for a peice of hard rocky ground on a slope to pitch a tent for 2 people for one nightn$50 for this and they charge $1 for the shower for 6 minutes.Very over priced.nNot a favourite camp ground
