Are you looking for a pre-school option where you can make friends too? Come and visit us at Waikanae Playcentre! We are situated close to the town centre and have a fabulous refurbished indoor area and an amazing outdoor space for the children to play, create and get messy.
Did you know Playcentre offers mixed aged sessions for children from birth to six years? This makes us different from other early childhood institutions, which separate children into age groups. If you have a baby and an active toddler it is a wonderful, safe environment, where both children can be accommodated for.
Run co-operatively by parents, Playcentre emphasises child initiated play. It also runs adult education for parents that acknowledges family commitments and obligations, and includes both formal and informal education opportunities.
