In summer this isn't a bad beach at all, little Thai restaurant and the surf club are located just outside the ample carpark with room for about 30 cars. Paths through dunes to a nice beach, that is beautiful when trees haven't been felled at the Mangaone end of Waikanae river & unpleasant if there has been logging in the past 2-3 years.
Lovely place. Toilets close at night.
