Great location and easy to get to. Clean and warm rooms with comfortable beds. I slept very well here. I dont know what cooking facilities are in all rooms but there was no cooktop in our room so we went out for roast nearby and heated it a little in the microwave. I would stay again for sure.
Travelled from Palmerston north to Gisborne usually takes 5-6 hours due to the road being a closed in Napier for several hours it took us nearly 10 hours ,from then it was a slow drive all the way to Gisborne with bumper to bumper trucks and cars ..as you could imagine we were tired and grumpy we arrived late on Check in and we were not expecting such a beautiful accomodation it was clean and the presentation was immaculate honestly felt like all our grumpyness just slipped away lol ,the best part was the coffee machine 10/10 for that !the beds were like sleeping on clouds lovely fresh linen and towels all the way to Africa and back ,we stayed in one of the many holiday homes they had available for larger groups which suited us ,whoever their cleaners are need a pat on the back and a medal ,I highly recommend seeking this hotel for accomodation if your looking for a comfortable stay
Super helpful and kind staff! Good rooms and just good overall! A friendly environment : 100% recommended!Rooms: 5/5
Lovely people, beautiful clean room. Was a bonus to have an outside private area with picnic tables - thank you.
Very nice Motel, clean and inviting in a good location. Rooms: Nice, tidy and quiet. Walkability: Really close to beach and walking & bike way.
Good location, lovely management, comfortable beds, heat pump a great option for July nights! The only reason I've not given 5 stars is that the bathroom and toilet windows in the room I stayed in really need coverings of some sort. They are frosted glass, but I still think they need treatments. Otherwise a really nice place to stay.
Very unclean, we used plastic cutlery etc as provided utensils were old and unclean. We had a single bed squashed in with queen bed which left no space to move. Our friends upstairs booked a room with sea views but there is only one room with views which they didn’t get they also said it was dirty and needed attention. Very few TV channels and also noted no smoke alarms. Very expensive!!!
Went to check it out and friendly hosts and beautiful clean unitsRooms: 5/5
Stayed here in June for work. Gave late notice for my booking but still room was ready for me in 2 hours. Nice little cottage with tidy facilities, very comfortable bed. Would stay again.
Fantastic place to stay. Were there for 3 nights. Had everything we needed. Only the 2 of us.. so done alot of cooking as we had a unit with a stove. Easy access to come and go to town and close to historic places and walks. Beach is a short walk. Will be back again
