We are a small, caring community school of two classrooms and a team of dedicated staff.
Nestled amongst established trees and native bush, we enjoy the sound of birds and a tremendous view of the Lake Waihola and Wetlands.
Our Environment Education program adds to the special character of our school, an inclusive learning environment where diversity is valued and individual needs are catered for.
Our vision for Waihola District School (WDS) - also known as Waihola School, is for it to be at the heart of the community, a vibrant place of contribution, growth and learning for all. Our Community Library and multi-purpose building, opened in 2008, helps to provide the meeting place where all may be inspired and supported to become lofe long learners.
Our Board Of Trustees and Staff work to provide a safe, secure and stimulating learning environment that ensures:
