A place within our community that supports mothers, babies and whanau during one of the most precious times in their Lives.Expectant mothers and independent midwives in Waihi, Coromandel and Hauraki Plains can enjoy our homely and relaxed environment for giving birth and providing supportive postnatal care. Mothers and fathers will experience the cosy atmosphere of private rooms complete with co-sleeping cribs, a television, a convalescing area and family lounge to relax in with all the comforts of home. Meals inspired by ‘Homely Love’ are provided by our well equipped kitchen."

I have had both my babies here and couldn't fault my experience I had both times. I had 2 great births, one of them in the lovely birthing pool. The rooms are comfortable and cosy, the food is great, not to mention the famous milk shakes. The staff are warm, caring and attentive. We are so lucky to have such an awesome facility locally.

Beautiful birthing annex, facilities, staff and MILK SHAKES! Such a calm and empowering environment, with a ton of support! The 3 days I spent there with our 3rd child was invaluable, I was so looked after which meant I went home to my other 2 young kids healed and rested able too tackle the challenge of 3 under 3, best foundations a mama could ask for! I am current hapu and super excited too have our 4th child in November there! Highly recommend

Birthing Centre is relaxing and restful. Staff are friendly and helpful and are willing to help you with anything you need. Food is amazing and so are the drinks. Lots on the menus. Bed is comfortable and rooms are spacious. I love that families are welcome to come visit during the day.

I've had 2 babies here and it was beyond my expectations. It was like being at home, but not! The staff are incredibly experienced and full of knowledge. The food is fantastic. It's been beautifully refurbished and I would highly recommend having your baby here.

This birthing centre is such an asset to our area. The new renovations make it feel so lush and lovely as well as still warm and homely. The staff are so welcoming and accommodating too. I can’t recommend this centre enough.
