Welcome to the Waihi Beach Tennis Club (Inc) located in Pohutukawa Reserve, Seaview Road.

Story

The Waihi Beach Tennis Club was established in 1931. It is well known to have the best views in the land and is situated alongside the Pohutukawa Scenic Reserve with overhanging Pohutukawa and frequent flying visits from native pigeons. We have 6 Tiger Turf courts of which 2 have flood lighting. Spacious clubrooms complete the picture and all this only 200 mts from Waihi Beach

The friendly, social atmosphere of the Waihi Beach Tennis Club is another of our attractions. For those of you who enjoy social tennis for exercise or fitness we play every Tuesday and Friday morning 12 months of the year. Just turn up at 8.30/9am and you will receive a warm welcome.

For those of you who like to be a little more competitive we have regular Club nights on a Wednesday and Fridays at 5.30pm and run a range of popular summer tournaments. Team Tennis is also popular on Tuesday nights.

We presently have over 40 Junior members who have their own training and competitive morning on Saturdays between 8.30am to 10.30. The club is providing free professional coaching to all financial junior members with Shannon Paki for the two next terms.
We have a growing membership with Family and social subscriptions available and the courts are available for casual hire for non members @ $2 per player per half hour.
