Wonderful first time experience at Waihi RSA. First off the staff were wonderful and so helpful. We have never been to any RSA before and they answered all our questions. They had quiz night going on and it was packed but the other dining room had space. We had some wonderful food. Fish burger was amazing, seafood chowder great, Lamb shanks to die for and my daughter always has Margherita pizza. I mean everything was just fantastic and tasty. We also had the fish bites and fries and the penne pasta. The portion size of the fish bites was hugeee and damn tasty. Will definitely be back when we visit Waihi next. Compliments to the chef and staff.
What a fabulous RSA Club this is. A group of 7 of us went for lunch. The menu is well priced and varied. The salad bar is amazing with heaps of choices. Everyone of them was delicious and the cold meats perfect. The club has nice views all around. It was clean and the drinks well priced. Staff were all friendly.
Great place for a good feed. The roast meats are always really good. Note to anyone who isn't a member, you won't be able to buy alcohol. That's the only thing I can fault it on but still deserve a good review. Staff are all really kind and friendly.
Expensive but really nice. Some really archiac rule this is post war now... Really?? Not allowing us to buy alcohol unless I paid $20 to be a short term member. Instant loss of 2 beers and a ginger beer. Estimated profit on that $20. Now the 3 people behind us also and the ones inside also verifying they were told same and deciding not to drink....modern times RSA board. Change constitution or do like other RSA..sign in.
Lovely place to go for lunch and or dinner. The service here is absolutely amazing. I would definitely recommend and can't wait to come back another time. Food is so delicious and great options for the kids too. cool to watch the bowls games as well spectacular views from carpark.
