We travelled from Auckland and had heard about the Saturday Market in Waihike. We were here with friends for long weekend and straight from ferry point we landed at Market.nLovely little local market with variety of creative artists to home-baked stuff to choose from and there is something for everyone. We had a great time wandering around the stalls, was a great experience and good Vibes!
Nice market in which you can catch up & hang out every week with your friends, chill out, buy some gorgeous vintage or delicious foods.
Love the variety of kai, they have many choices of homegrown kai, & homegrown artists. If your a book worm there are plenty to choose from he accepts cash only. There are lots of second hand and new clothing to choose from my daughter and my neice had a blast and scored them a couple of out fits under $10 each.nDefinitely worth a visit.
The market was a great stop off of the hop and off bus. I find a person selling beautiful exotic Rocks and trees out of small stones which I bought. They also sell all types of different foods and drinks which are delicious. Even have gluten free. They do close 1pm and are not open every day. They are open on the weekends. I highly recommend it.
A little boring needs a much bigger venue site to handle parking and people flow, past it's use by date in regards to being a hindrance to traffic flow
