Situated in Oneroa township the library is part of the Auckland city network of libraries. The building is modern and has a good collection of reading material. It is especially convenient if you are out boating for a few days in the Waiheke area and need a book to read. If you are an Auckland City Library member you can borrow a book here and return to your local library
I guess it should be one of those amazing spaces. The architecture design is Kiwi eclectic with strong Maori and Pacific influences. It's tidy and clean inside and out. It is an amazing space for old and young to have a quiet space to study or just relax.
The printing process for public needs simplifying, I wish someone in the organization could come up with a more user friendly method. I think last update to this system was more than 5 years ago.
The book selection is limited due to the size of the library, but the staff are really friendly and alway ready to assist with all sorts of inquiries.nThe kid section is fun and our kids love hanging out in that area.
Awesome. Quiet. Beautiful building. Staff are very kind and helpful. Was able to pop in while on vacation and crunch out a project that had unexpectedly come due.
